Overall responsibility for creating and deploying software updates and vulnerabilities using LANDesk Europe-wide as well as corporate image creation / testing / changes. Recent projects include upgrading and migrating LANDesk 8.8 to version 9 and planning, developing, testing and implementing a new Windows 7 corporate image with SCEE software. Currently working on Windows XP to Windows 7 migration and Lotus Notes to Microsoft Exchange migration projects.

 

IT Manager @ Paul McKenna Productions in London

Overall responsibility for managing the entire IT function. Managed a staff of four who each managed an aspect of McKenna’s IT operation. Managed all third party developers, contractors, SLAs and any IT functions that did not fall under the ‘in-house’ scope. Projects included a new website with advanced back-end administration, product and seminar sales, video engine, club membership and electronic marketing as well as providing related support for seminars and ensuring the day to day running of all systems at optimal levels. Co-ordinated and managed moving the entire IT function to the USA where McKenna’s operations are currently based.

 

SAP Liaison Officer @ York International / JCI in London & Amsterdam

Involvement with the migration from IBM AS400 to SAP; in particular with Infrastructure, User and Security Management, SAP specific Printing Functions, GUI Upgrades and Patches and Transport Management. The role was as liaison between the SAP project team and Global Infrastructure (MIS) to ensure the infrastructure was ready for the migration and the SAP project hardware and business needs were met. Third party liaison with SAP Hosting on configuration of servers and environments and heavy involvement in two successful go-lives in America. York was taken over by Johnson Controls Inc. and this resulted in the SAP core function relocating to the USA.



Prior to these positions I have also managed and been involved with several other major projects including a migration for a top London law firm, a large Office application upgrade for a UK government institution, various e-mail migrations to and from Exchange and several other implementations, upgrades and migrations for medium and large organisations.
